Scalp micropigmentation after care

There are several steps you can take to ensure that your scalp heals properly after each micropigmentation session. These tips will also be communicated to you by your technician.

1. Do not wash your head for the first 3 days
Your scalp is still sensitive after the operation and if you apply water to your scalp, you can damage it.

2. Make sure you also avoid any physical exertion that could make you sweat.

Sweating can prevent the scalp from healing properly, so do not go to the gym or run in the park for at least 5 days.

3. At the same time, keep in mind that you should not be exposed to the sun for up to 10 days from the last micropigmentation procedure.

Sunlight contains dangerous ultraviolet rays that can interfere with the healing process of your scalp.
If you go out in the sun to protect your scalp, use a clean, loose hat.

4. You should remember to avoid swimming in pools, lakes, seas or rivers.

Swimming can expose your scalp to salt or chlorine water, and this can ruin the results of your micropigmentation procedure. You are not allowed to swim for 7 days from your last operation.

5. You can shave your head from day 4
If you want to shave your head, now is a good time to do so. Make sure you use an electric foil razor as this tool will minimize disruption to your scalp.
